Consultations and Programs: Methodology
Dr. Bryan uses films, role-plays, questionnaires, interactive lecture and a variety of experiential exercises to facilitate the learning of all participants. She typically brings many theoretical texts, children's/middle reader/young adult books, guides, kits, visual and media resources to her programs so that educators can explore first hand the latest materials available in the domain of Gender and Sexuality Diversity. There are developmentally appropriate resources for every age group, and Dr. Bryan often demonstrates how certain books or projects can be integrated into the classroom. Participants are given pertinent hand outs, bibliographies, and articles to take home.

Jennifer Bryan has a real gift - the message, methodology, and messenger all align to make her extremely effective. I am particularly impressed that she works so successfully with a range of faculty and students who are 'in very different places' relative to issues of gender, sexual identity, and sexual orientation.
